New revision of the HALCON GigEVision interface
  (December 19, 2008)
  New revision 3.3 of the HALCON 8.0 GigEVision interface which is now also available for Windows x64. Furthermore, it includes several enhancements and bugfixes, e.g., regarding the broadcast device discovery, multiple camera configurations, error handling, automatic detection of packet size, and packet resending (registered customers can download it here).
 
HALCON 8.0 on new Sony XCI-SX100 and XCI-V100 smart cameras
  (November 27, 2008)
  First official release of the HALCON 8.0 SonyXCI-2 interface which supports the new Sony XCI-SX100/C and XCI-V100/C smart cameras. Thus, in combination with the standard HALCON installation for Windows x86, HALCON now completely runs on the Sony XCI-SX100/C and XCI-V100/C smart cameras, see also here (registered customers can download it here).
 
New revision of the HALCON LuCam interface

  New revision 2.4 / 3.4 of the HALCON 7.1 / 8.0 LuCam interface released which accelerates the execution time of the GPIO parameters and fixes a bug in the operator close_framegrabber. Furthermore, the HALCON 8.0 revision now supports also Windows x64 Editions (registered customers can download it here).
 
New revision of the HALCON BaumerFCAM interface

  New revision 2.9 / 3.5 of the HALCON 7.1 / 8.0 BaumerFCAM interface released which fixes a bug in external triggering in case of synchronous grabbing (registered customers can download it here).

  New revision 3.2 of the HALCON 8.0 GigEVision interface which provides a new acquisition mode to enforce the grabbing of latest available images, broadcast device discovery, new parameters for IP configuration and block timeout, automatic checking for firewalls on Windows XP, and support of real-time scheduling policy on Linux systems. New revision of the HALCON 1394IIDC interface for Linux

  New revision 2.2 / 3.1 of the HALCON 7.1 / 8.0 1394IIDC interface for Linux released which is now available also for Linux x86_64 and is based on new versions of the underlying system libraries libraw1394 and libdc1394 (registered customers can download it here).
 
New HALCON Embedded releases for eneo SC series and Strampe VisionBox

New revisions of the HALCON dPict, INSPECTA, and INSPECTA5 interfaces

  New revision 2.2 / 3.2 of the HALCON 7.1 / 8.0 dPict interface, new revision 2.12 / 3.3 of the HALCON 7.1 / 8.0 INSPECTA interface, and new revision 2.2 / 3.3 of the HALCON 7.1 / 8.0 INSPECTA5 interface released which support now auto-detection of actually available devices in HDevelop (registered customers can download it here).
 
New version of FirePackage driver

  New version 2v29 of the FirePackage driver released. This new version can be used in combination with the 1394IIDC interface and fixes most notably the compatibility problem of the former versions 2v25...2v28 in case of multiple camera configurations (registered customers can download both the interface as well as the underlying driver here).
 
New maintenance release 7.1.4 for HALCON 7.1

  The newest maintenance release 7.1.4 of HALCON 7.1 includes several enhancements, such as significant speed-ups and general improvements of many operators. Additionally, HALCON 7.1.4 delivers several new examples for HDevelop, as well as documentation updates and fixes of all currently known bugs. Have a look at the release notes for a detailed description of HALCON 7.1.4. Registered customers can download the new release or a package to update an older release of HALCON 7.1.
 
New revision of the HALCON GigEVision interface

  New revision 3.1 of the HALCON 8.0 GigEVision interface which includes various extensions and improvements such as an advanced packet resend mechanism, support of more pixel formats, dynamically setting of transport layer-related parameters, automatic packet size optimization, software cropping, and support of ForceIP. Furthermore, besides several bug fixes, all parameter names have been made consistent to the GenICam Standard Feature Naming Convention (registered customers can download it here).

New maintenance release 8.0.2 for HALCON 8.0

  The newest maintenance release 8.0.2 of HALCON 8.0 includes several enhancements, such as a much faster bar code reader with more functionality and support for Composite codes that are attached to RSS bar codes, and a universal interface to access all GigE Vision compliant cameras. Additionally, HALCON 8.0.2 delivers GUI and usability enhancements for HDevelop, such as a better parameter GUI for the Image Acquisition Assistant and support for Italian, as well as documentation updates and fixes of all currently known bugs.
