MVTec welcomes JMAK Automation
as a new distributor for the US and Canada. Besides the distribution
of HALCON and ActivVisionTools, JMAK Automation also provides
high-level technical support for these software products.
JMAK was founded in 2005 to provide consulting and design services
to the manufacturing industry with core expertise in motion control
and CAD. In 2011, JMAK added extensive support for machine vision
and imaging.

Image Acquisition Partner Program. Smartek specializes in
the production of components for industrial image processing
(machine vision) and the production of mega-pixel security cameras with
image compression. In particular, all GigE Vision cameras from Smartek
are fully supported via HALCON's GigEVision interface under Windows
and Linux.

From June 2011, the distribution of MVTec machine vision software
products in Australia and New Zealand is additionally performed
by Adept Turnkey Pty Ltd..
Besides the distribution of HALCON and ActivVisionTools, Adept also
provides high-level technical support for these software products.

HALCON 10 Distributor Training in Munich

Regarding the launch of the new version 10 of their machine vision
software HALCON, MVTec Software GmbH held an international distributor
training in Munich, Germany, from September 27 to October 01, 2010.
HALCON 10 will be available via MVTec's global distribution network from
October 10, 2010.
50 sales engineers from 20 countries over the world took part in this
event. In North America, a separate distributor training will take place.
Topics of the Munich event were the focused training in the comprehensive
innovations of HALCON 10 as there are new matching technologies,
enhancements of 3D vision methods, considerable speedups, and the
enhanced usability of HALCON 10.
The goal of the training was not only to acquaint the distributing
engineers with the new product, but moreover to further strengthen the
family of Halconists around the world.
